We are so excited to be announcing that we will be offering a K-5th FLAG, 6th-8th 7v7 FALL season and Strictly Sideline Cheer.
*Registrations will be open the morning of Wednesday Aug. 12th.
*Registration will close Sept. 4th NO exceptions as we will need to have teams formed by
then.
Registration Fees for all participants will be $100.00 (No Fundraiser) *Please note we are planning on offering a Spring Tackle football season that falls in line with the high school season. Those that participate in our Fall program will receive a $25 discount towards their Spring season.
Practice start date: Sept 14th
Games start the week of: Sept 28th
Playoffs start the week of: Oct 26th
Championships: Nov 1st
Info on the teams:
K-5th is flag football
Teams will be divided into three grade groups (K/1, 2/3, 4/5)
*If we do not have a team in your grade level you may play up or play with a different association. Participants cannot play DOWN a grade.
All participants will need to submit proof of grade/school fall enrollment to our area. Proof will need to be submitted by Sept. 4th. It is my understanding that Springfield's School district registration is Aug, 19th & 20th so we should be able to get what we need.
5v5 Flag Football (Rules will be posted on the website by end of day 8/11)
Flags and jerseys will be provided, flags will be returned to the coach and disinfected after each practice/game. Coaches will also be responsible for disinfecting footballs after each
play/practice/game. *Jerseys will be returned to league at end of season
Mouthguards, face coverings, non-metal cleats are required (these are NOT provided by the league)
Football gloves are recommended, not required.
Face Coverings are required and to be provided by the participants. *Note your player will WILL NEED to wear a face covering during active play however when on the sideline they will need to wear one.
Each team will consist of approx. 10 players, 3 coaches maximum per team plus one team manager.
6th-8th is 7v7 football

Cheer will be SOLELY sideline cheer. ABSOLUTELY no tumbling/stunting/pyramids etc.
Squads will be divided into their respective grade, following the football team guidelines, as much as possible. Grade levels may be combined to form teams (k/1, 2/3, 4/5, 6th, 7th,8th).

Uniforms will be provided. (Please note due to the nature of time it takes to receive cheer uniforms, we do not have access to full cheer uniforms. We will be providing alternative uniforms this year; such as T-shirts/shorts.
Face Coverings are required and to be provided by the participants. *Note your participant will have to wear their face coverings at all times.
Cheer squads will consist of a maximum of 5 cheerleaders, coaches maximum OR 1 coach and 1 Team Manager.
Practice fields and times are still being worked out at this time. In order to stay compliant with district and city guidelines we may ask that participants are dropped off and picked up for practice. More info on that to come soon.
Participants will be allowed ONLY 2 SPECTATORS per game. This is to stay compliant with the 100-person maximum capacity the state of Oregon has imposed.
**All PLAYERS, SPECTATORS, COACHES, VOLUNTEERS, and REFEREES will be required to wear a face covering at all times.
We know this is a huge change for all of us on top of a lot of information. Please hang in there with us as we quickly get our season together. Can't wait to see the kids together again
